Mood Boards & Illustrations
This is a collection of both hand and digital compositions
Industrial is the complete opposite of my own aesthetic. I love bright, rich hues, especially pinks, red-violets and purples. I am a complete girly girl who loves all the bells and whistles from sparkles and gemstones to lace and embroidery. Industrial, on the other hand, is void of any of those elements. It has more muted colors and a more traditionally masculine appearance.
Ornate arches is an achromatic mood board inspired by Rajasthani architecture and pottery. The main picture is of the Jaipur Blue Palace. The focus is the architectural features of the palace including arches, curves, columns, and intricately intertwined filigree patterns.
The Cozy Autumn collection is NOT my own designs! These are from Ralph Lauren Fall 2020. The purpose of these illustrations was to demonstrate my croquis and fabric rendering skills. I took the liberty to change some colors and prints.
Lost in Clouds is based off of an inspiration from nature. My inspiration was clouds, and I went with a magic evoking, dream like theme.
Enchanted Garden is the source for the Incredeba line. This was a mock ghost design project where I designed a line for a celebrity. My celebrity is Indian TV actress Debattama Saha and her love for fairytales and florals.
Incredeba, the title, is a mashup of the word incredible and Debattama's nick name Deba. She is the celebrity for whom I made this mock ghost design line. I took pastel spring hues and added a simple stylized rose motif pattern to all four looks. I incorporated sheer fabrics and ruffle trims to go with the fairytale theme. It is a more contemporary aesthetic for traditional Indian special occasion wear.
Olivine Rose is paired with the technical flats of the same name. I first started with a single image of tourmaline beads, one of my favorite semiprecious stones, and then chose other images belonging to the same color story.
The Olivine Rose collection is directly coming from the mood board of the same name. It is designed for the fall/winter season. I designed the flats and print designs all on Adobe Illustrator.
